2. Down the outside of the leg
Note the position of the ball, note also the movement of his leg just up and down at certain points in the video which together with the vibration brings about more stimulation and release.
Rolling is painful due to the positioning of the ball and the impact of the release of tight muscle tissue. Work through the pain. By working through the pain of rolling, you are helping the recovery of soft tissue. It’s a self help mechanism to physical recovery.
The analogy used is that athlete’s will keep filling their physical cup to the brim by pushing the limits. This is when injury occurs. Overcoming the overflow is to dip into the cup and remove some of the liquid so that your soft tissue recovers. This is done by rolling and Voodoo Flossing.
